Weekly trainings hosted by Academy Division
After the interviews taken from civilians last week, San Andreas Academy Division decided to continue hosting weekly training for their officers. The point of that is to help volunteers acknowledge the duties of an officer, gain more experience and skills.
On Monday there was an investigation training conducted by Academy instructor Sam Woods. The volunteers were being taught how to prepare and make a proper investigation in different situations. At the end of the training, volunteers had a chance to perform it by themselves.
On Tuesday training was hosted about how to respond and successfully deal with a kidnapping. Recruits and troopers task was to set a perimeter. The volunteers were briefed on what are their tasks in such a situation as well. The negotiation was done by the instructor Sam Woods.
On Wednesday firearm training was conducted. At the beginning of the training volunteers and recruits were briefed about regular duty equipment and paired up for combat training. They were trained about how to use firearms and how to handle the crossfire.
On Friday a pursuit training was hosted. Units were gathered at San Fierro Police Department where the chase has started. This training gave an opportunity to practise driving skills and update the radio. The volunteers had a chance to experience how real pursuits are being done.
