Ever since I was a young man, I have always had an admiration for the men and women within the police force that helped to keep the population of Sandy Point, my home town, safe. The determination, skill, knowledge and bravery they showed in the field inspired me as a child and as a teenager, which is what drew me most towards pursuing a career in law enforcement in the near future. Even more so, when I moved to San Andreas a few months ago. I have had some interactions with the San Andreas State Police and I was, and still am amazed by their professionalism and respect towards the citizens of San Andreas. Even when dealing with someone who has clearly broken the law, regardless of the severity, they have shown time and time again that they treat all men and women with dignity and respect. I find their work ethic admirable, and while it would also allow me to persue my dream career, it would be a great honor to join their ranks.
Growing up on a family farm with my ex-army father, I was raised with a militaristic approach. That means respecting my elders and betters, learning proper manners, a strict routine, working hard every day, taking school seriously, and learning to properly operate and care of different mechanical equipment, including cars, trucks and different types of firearms. Whenever I am placed in an environment of learning, I always do my absolute best to listen, and follow instructions to the letter. I was brought up to be a respectful and professional man by my parents, and I like to think that their method of raising a child paid off. I believe I should be accepted over other applicants because of my direct approach to any problems I my face, my respectful and professional demeanor, and the skills I already possess in machinery and firearms, which will help me serve the San Andreas Police Department if I was to be accepted, and graduated to a fully fledged state trooper.
